You have[/b] to take US History at our school; the only AP classes we have are AP Calculus (there's no other calculus...0.o), AP Government, AP Chemistry, and AP English. Three of those are Senior-only, for the most part. Foxx: I envy you that paper. But I'd rather do Erin right now; you know, the Chaos one? At least Demeter/Circe is the goddess of the harvest and fertility. There's her daughter Persephone, too.... -wink- I study mythology in my free time, kids.
Music is a great muse-aid. I've been listening to Papercut, Breaking the Habit, Animal I Have Become, Riot, and Harder to Breathe lately for some muse; can't find much for Plaguestar... -ponders-

Study mythology in your free time, eh? We had to read Edith Hamilton's Mythology for English last semester. Usually that sort of stuff is interesting, but the way it was written was a snooze fest.

I love mythology .. but seventh grade mythology's a bore. My paper was assigned weeks and weeks ago, but, well .. world's biggest procrastinator here. xDD
I decided to do one on Artemis/Diana, instead -- she's my favorite goddess of all.

Seriously? We have... Too many AP classes to count, like 4 math lanes (at least)... To name a few, AP Psychology (instead of history for one semester of senior year), AP US History, a couple AP maths, AP Spanish Language, AP Spanish Lit, AP Physics, AP other science stuff, AP Computer Science, AP English (or maybe it has some fancy name), AP Economy... Even "Advanced Fitness." I don't know the rest, but you get my point. Some people have 6 AP classes. They're crazy.
Haha, I'm the Chaos one! Am I also a guy? Mythology is not my strong point. I know about Zeus. He was a god (no duh). We had mythology in 6th grade. It was boring.

Foxx: Artemis is awesome. She's my favorite, followed by Athena. But Artemis was all, "You saw me getting dressed? Take this, bi.tch!" and then proceeded to pwn them.
Yes. That was basic Greek mythology in modern form. I'm scared too. Mythology was for 7th grade at my first middle school, and 6th grade at my second. Guess who missed that whole[/b] unit?

Bummer. That's kinda like if you live in Australia, come here for a year, then go back to Australia you skip a year. Well, not really, but it's true (sometimes).

Apparently, that does happen.
But, no. I was really bummed that I missed 6th grade humanities at my second middle school, especially since it was simulation-heavy when you studied ancient Rome/Greece. I even missed the teacher machete-ing a watermelon to teach latitude and longitude.
At my first middle school, we did a Maya-Inca-Aztec unit and a Middle Ages unit. No simulations. And, because I had a 7th grade math class (yay for being smart) every morning at 1st period, and I had Humanities (periods 1&2 on "B" days, periods 6&7 on "B" days) and Math-Science (reverse of Humanities' schedule) with the other 6th graders in my homeroom-section-thing, I ended up having to do pretty much every[/b] group project on my own. Which ticked off one of my best friends then.
On the other hand, I didn't really have science that year, and the teacher had to give me an A, because he'd been a jerk and made Science during 1st period. So, really, it was a good bargain. Sometimes.

No thanks. I'm glad it changed though. I can't look at that Yu-Gi-Oh guy with white hair for too long.

oh yes. He's not allowed to do that anymore because he made a big slice in his desk. (Forgot the cutting board. ^.^ ) And I'd have to go with you on the mythology thing Diz. Love those two the best. Though I'd put Ares third! ^.^ And Fox, You have a competitor for that title! -pokes self- ^__^

And Mr. Kirk the-magical-leprechaun-former-principal-of-McMurray told him not to do it anymore after some kids told their parents, who then complained.
But he was awesome. -nods-
