Good luck seems impossible for Frozenstep since she left WindClan and went to ThunderClan three moons ago. She has made no friends, and knows virtually no one. That is, until she meets Lonepaw.

Lonepaw doesn't speak. Doesn't socialize. And definately doesn't have friends. When Frozenstep accidentally meets her on a hunting trip, she can't help but feel empathy for the little ginger she-cat.

But what she finds out as the days drag on and she becomes friends with the apprentice will never make either of their lives the same again.
