the legend________
- Physical Description
You'll know it when you see him. Vastflame is a handsome tom. He has always been so - even from when he was a litttle kit with his mother. Many a cat has been envious of him, for there is not many with a coloration or visage like his. Vastflame could have been a subject of affection for many she-cats - had the Clans still been around. Still, all cats alike seem to melt under his gaze and sharp features. He is a charmer, they say.
Anyway, let's get more in depth. Vastflame did not miss out on the beauty gene. There has always been one in his family, a certain careless and natural attractiveness that none have worked hard for. Most all of their family had been attractive. Though he was an only child, his cousins are attractive, however bluntly unaware he is of it, or of that they're his cousins. His mother was an attractive animal. A mottled tawny-brown coat, snow-white splotches, wrapped up with captivating, if not slightly demonic orange visage.
Yes, I am talking of Azali. He does not know of of his lost heritage, yet he remembers his mother telling him stories of legendary cats that lived by the rivers. Ah, and he also remembers his father. A massive, musulcar, if not slightly handsome tom. His peltage was a white as snow, and the markings and dark as midnight. And his eyes, his eyes. They are Vastflame's mark of him. His own occuli, a lighter shade of his father's. Yes, this is Freedspirit. Vastflame was their only child, and he is almost the sole heir to the throne that is OceanClan.
But this is not a story. Vastflame is a well-built and magnificant tom. He stands on four strong legs, curving into medium-sized paws. They hold him up stoutly, for he is a truely staunch cat. Inside these four paws are weapons. Vastflame's claws are truely inherited from the other half of his lineage. His grandmother, Heartface, has the same long, hook, sinuous, inky black claws. A look at the would make you want to take a step away from him. But they are rarely seen. He knows what damage one look at them can do. So he keeps them sheathed up unless needed.
Vastflame's body is stretched taut with muscles. Though he many not look as strong as some tomcats, he is powerful. Muscles are hidden underneath his fur, which is a pale ginger-cream. Many have said it themselves. Vastflame has a truely handsome coat. The base of it is, as I said before, a pale ginger cream. His topcoat is darker, though, the color of faded embers. Vastflame is smudges with the topcolor, so it is darker in some places and lighter in others. It is lightest on his underbelly, where it is solely a cream color. Darker stripes lance over the mix, the color of a dying flame. This color is where he gets the ending of his name, which his father granted him.
The last thing that makes up Vastflame's appearance is his visage. His gorgeous eyes. The reason his father changed his name from Flame to Vastflame. They are as blue as the sky and certainly just as breathtaking as it. Their pureness shocks and draws people. The color of them is pure and sharp, and they seem to go on for an eternity. They are like a beacon of light on a cloudy day. They dance and glow as much as his grandmother's did. Vastflame's eyes are truely beautiful eyes.
- Personality
Vastflame, in a sense, is the all-around loveable, super-hot tom-cat that all the ladies love and all of the guys are friends with. In other words, Vastflame is super-popular. Everybody loves the outgoing tomcat. He is a friendly tom, and is very approachable. It's extremely easy to talk to him. Vastflame does not especially love to talk, and he's actually pretty quiet -- if he's not busy leading his new Clan. Not that he's a solitary cat - because he definately isn't.[/u][/color][/li][/ul]
Vastflame loves to be around other cats, and just likes company in general. He is a very good-humored and good-tempered cat. Generally, he is like a black hole, sucking all of the attention in the area on him. It's not like he means to have his own personal spotlight. Vastflame just does.
As far as intelligence goes, Vastflame seems to have it all. Looks, charms, smarts. How much can this cat do? Either way, he's a very smart and thoughtful cat. He is serious about leading is Clan, but otherwise is pretty much a total goofball. Vastflame just enjoys being with his friends, yet is as mature as can be when it comes to leadership.
- History
All histories start the same. "So and so was born to these two cats." That bores me to tears and I try not to fall asleep. So I'm going to try to find a better way to say that Vastflame was born and raised in the old OceanClan territory by two wicked parents.
There, how was that? (:
Anyway, these two parents came from a dark and shadowy allegiance. How does a cat like Vastflame come from two cats such as Freedspirit and Azali. Only StarClan knows.
Anyway. Freedspirit was a pacifist of a cat, and somewhat of a hypocrite in that. Because he had murdered and lied, and cheated, and more. He had a mate before Azali, and she had comitted suicide. What does this say about Freedspirit. It says a lot. Vastflame inherity his smoky sky-colored eyes from his father. And his somewhat pacifist nature from him too.
Azali was a different story. Once a young, sweet, level-headed cat quickly morphed into something equally, if not more wicked that her counterpart. She was a terribly-tempered cat, coming from the great Jadestar's lineage, Azali was actually her niece. Which makes Vastflame, unknowingly, her great-nephew, directly linking him to OceanClan's lost throne.
Anway, his parents were happy when he was born. Another wicked kit born to the universe. Azali, surprisingly, was a good mother. Until she got into a fight with a badger, and got herself killed. Freedspirit, unable to live without his wife, faded away. So Vastflame, at warrior age, was alone.
He was perfectly capable of taking care of himself. He could hunt and fight, and got on well with the other cats. It wasn't a big deal. He always thought his parents were corrupted anyway. So when he was older, Vastflame was a popular, peacful, well-liked cat.
What a surprise.
