Name -- Dawnbreak Age -- 27 moons old Gender -- Female Alignment -- Good Clan -- WillowClan Rank -- Warrior Picture -- None Appearance -- Dawnbreak is not a big she-cat. She could be described as diminutive, and is not very impressive visually. Her small features -- slight body, short limbs, rounded shoulders and feathery paws -- are not the marks of a good warrioress, but she serves her purposes well, though that's another story. Even the weapons most cats can make advantages of easily -- hooked fangs and thick claws -- were slighted on Miss Dawnbreak. Her teeth, although average, are not as fearsome as many warrior's and she does not like to use them in battle. Her claws are rather blunt-edged on their tips for reasons no one really understands, except to go along with the whole weakling image she's got for herself. Again, she uses her small, defenseless nails only when absolutely necessary. Dawnbreak has the frame of an apprentice, but that isn't really all that bad. However, she seems even smaller by the thin, whispery gray-silver coat that clings to her slim frame. When she moves, she appears a small mist cloud, for her fast-moving slight paws and thick but short legs can carry her quite speedily for someone as overlooked as Dawnbreak. She may not seem like much of a threat -- in fact, she seems like an adorable kittypet to probably most warriors -- for her eyes are a wide yellow, pale and misted over, so they don't seem to hold much color at all in their depths. Her diminutive paws are tipped with a lush white, the same as her wide-spread, fox-like gray tail, tipped in the cream-white of a cloud in the soft summer sky. Like I've said before, although Dawnbreak does not seem fearsome, looks can be deceiving. Short Description -- Very swift small gray and white she-cat with blunt claws and pale yellow eyes Personality -- Dawnbreak is a bitch. No, I mean really; her hard-ass persona is very unnerving. She can give the cold shoulder faster than frost can kill a fragile spring flower. Dawnbreak looks like a plush version of a kittypet, sure, but she has the spirit of a rogue. Her tongue is scathing, and she doesn't seem to regard anyone with the respect they think they deserve. Despite this, Dawnbreak does listen to Mintleaf, Fadingsteps and Icefire, even when she doesn't think they deserve to be listened to. She will not openly challenge them to their face, but behind their back she's free to speak as meanly and rashly as she wants. Dawnbreak is wary of other cats. Toms, she-cats, kits, elders, it doesn't matter; she is rather hard-nosed and cold-eyed to everyone. She certainly isn't nervous of them; but she doesn't take to other warriors easily and when she does, she distrusts them even then. It's just her persona; nothing happened in her past to make it happen. This doesn't mean she can't have friends; however, it does make her options a little narrow, for most cats won't have a thing to do with her. Despite her persona-wise downfalls, Dawnbreak is a loyal and strong-spirited warrior. She may talk trash about something stupid her betters might have done, but she would never betray them. Clinging to the traditional style of ValleyClan and never forgetting the memories of what it once was, she would never desert its remains, no matter how vicious and vile it may turn. Dawnbreak may be a bitch... but she's good bitch. History -- Born as a kit in ValleyClan during Emberstar's short-lived reign, Dawnkit was still a small kitten when StarClan and Dark Forest's War tore their world apart. Her mother, Agileleg, was a very swift runner and long-limbed warrioress, and she passed many traits onto her only daughter, including the quick, speedy attributes in battle and the steely loyalty of which she gave to her Clan. Agileleg had been the mate of an unknown tom, for she'd refused to reveal him, but the kits she'd turned out the first time had been unlucky and cursed. There had been four in the first litter, and they had all four perished under the circumstances of their weak and early birth. Again, Agileleg tried for children, this time landing with a litter of two kits, which only Dawnkit survived of, and only because of several days spent with the medicine cat in consultation and prayer. The tiny gray and silver daughter of Agileleg started weak, and stayed weak, but her long-legged mother was happy to have her. When the Clan was disrupted, Dawnkit was only five moons old, not yet old enough to be an apprentice but looking forward to it. She was torn away from it and her mother took refuge in the wild, far from the Clans' old terras but near the loner and rogue's homes. There, she nostalgically taught her single remaining kitten about the ways of the warrior, before Emberstar's rule, when the stronger cats had all reigned, like Blondestar and Sunstar. Dawnkit acknoweledged her love for the olden days, and instead of asking questions, she only learned and loved the tales, for she knew it made her dam proud. One day, however, when Dawnkit was thirteen moons old, Agileleg caught a strange virus which she had never seen before. The queen explained to her daughter in wheezy breaths that it was whitecough, and was a common cold in the Clans. She had also told her not to worry, that it was not a very dangerous disease. But weeks went by without her improving; and at one point, one moon later, she was worse. Greencough had settled into her mother's weakened body, and as it evolved, it managed to take her life. Dawnkit was heartbroken, of course, but she realized Agileleg was not very young anymore, and had in fact been considered a senior warrior when she'd had her second and last litter. She buried her mother with a lot of labor, then went back to the home in which she'd been raised in. It wasn't for months until the gray femme heard that the Clans had reunited, and, at sixteen moons old, the inappropriately named Dawnkit left for the newly formed ValleyClan -- called WillowClan. The leader, a gray she-cat called Mintleaf, took her in and she told everyone her name was Dawnbreak. Simply as that, she remains as a strong warrior, fighting as Agileleg had done for ValleyClan. Lineage -- Father; Unknown Mother; Agileleg Siblings; Five dead, unnamed kits Other; Unknown RP Sample -- No.
