[[MinnowXPlague sounds good, too....]]
Eclipse's ears flicked slightly as she heard Minnowpool's all-too willing consent to remain with Violetlight and Spectrumfire. "Very well." She murmured to herself, silently moving backwards towards the place beneath the riverbank she'd found earlier. "I am not necessary to this fate; I am content to merely watch, anyway." As she neared the place where'd she would be dwelling for now, a slight smile touched the black cat's maw. "Fate is rarely kind, besides."

((Time for Violet to have her kits. *POOF* They've been born. Should we start a new thread or continue with this one but later?))

[[here. chew on this!
one moon later...]]
The orange flecked fur of a young tom flashed in the daylight. Icefire, son of Violetlight and Spectrumfire, butted his flank against that of his sister, Kitsune. "Hey, sis!" His mean-spirited voice cried in a mixture of glee and cruelty. "Get up, will ya?"
[[He hurts people via mind! I wuv him.]]

[ && tankuu. <3 ]
Shuddering, Kitsune raised her head, sleepy green eyes glimmering with extreme annoyance and even stronger disapproval. "Watch it, fleabutt!" she growled bad-temperedly, flicking her ears and slumping her head on her paws. "I don't hafta get up if I don't want too. What would we do, anyway? Mom an' Dad are sleepin', so there really isn't a reason t'get up. Wake me back up when you find one that isn't stupid, like usual." Kitsune wasn't usually this cruel; she was simply not a 'morning person', and for that matter, an afternoon person, either. She was friendly and active nearing the evening, but, eh... sunlight hurt her fragile little eyes.

[[Anytime, anytime...]]
Icefire frowned, violet eyes narrowing to slits. "We could go bug Minnowpool; she's pretty fun to annoy," He suggested in his cold voice. "Or we could go torture the fish in the river. Maybe get our own breakfast, 'stead of what mom gets us."
[[Option 1: they go bug minnowpool, get scared, and find their powers. option 2: they get yelled at by eclipse, find their powers. either way, i want icefire to damage....someone.]]

((Don't leave Silverlight out of this!))
Silverlight let out a soft groan. This happened every single morning! Icefire would wake Kitsune up, and the two of them would argue. Silverlight didn't know how her parents were able to sleep through it; sometimes it seemed that even if the forest caught on fire they wouldn't stir. The tabby buried her head in the moss, but she knew it was no use. She might as well get up.
Silverlight pulled herself into a sitting position. "Maybe you guys could try being quiet sometime," she growled, catching her sister's bad mood. Being a light sleeper, she was often woken up early by something, which was one of the few things that annoyed her. She looked directly at Icefire. "What's so great about getting up early, anyways?" Without waiting for an answer, she continued. "Anyways, we might as well do something, and while we're doing said something it might as well be something useful."
The gray she-cat stood up and shook the moss from her pelt. Now that she was awake, she knew there was no way she could get back to sleep. Plus, she wanted to make sure Icefire didn't cause too much trouble. But what can he do out here? We're the only ones who live here, and even he isn't dumb enough to do any serious damage. After all, we're only kits.

Kitsune glanced at Silverlight, amused ever so slightly. "Yeah, guess we'll fish. Minnowpool might bite our 'eads off if we bother her too much." She flicked her tail, offering for either sibling to lead the way and try first; she wasn't in either an adventurous or productive mood.
[no muse at all.]

[[I shall. Oh, hey, since I gave Icefire the amazing gift of mind-injury (immense amounts of pain that's not really there), he should use it on the fish. Show it off, you know? And freak out Kitsune and Silverlight.]]
Icefire shrugged, his violet eyes gleaming with unknown cruelty at the chance to go fishing. "Alright. 'Sides, Minnowpool's pretty boring. No fun bugging her." With a twitch of his orange-flecked tail, he started towards the riverbank. "C'mon! Last one there has to ask Mom for mouse tonight!" The young tom called to his sisters in his eerie, unkind voice.

((That would be fun. Kitsune still has fire powers, right? Cuz otherwise Silverlight will be an old lady when she finds out fire can't hurt her.))
Silverlight glanced at her sister, then followed Icefire towards the riverbank. Is there something wrong with asking for a mouse? she wondered, shrugging. Icefire had said it, so it didn't necessarily have to make sense. The young tabby soon found herself at the river's edge. "Have you ever tried fishing?" she asked Icefire, looking at the water slipping by uncertainly. She was eager to try, but had the feeling her brother might push her in if she gave him the opportunity.

[[Wouldn't it? And yeah, Kitsune does still, weak as they are. I just thought that Icefire was evil enough to deserve an equally evil power. Ooh! I'm going to make it so that Icefire's already discovered his power, and he wants to show it off to his sisters.]]
Icefire grinned wickedly. "'Course not, Silverlight. But we're gonna be adults soon 'nuff, so why don't we try?" With a flick of his tip, he strode to the riverbank, confidence and pride gleaming from every strand of fur on his pelt. "Watch this!" He called out, focusing on a silvery fish just visible under the water's surface. The fish began to writhe, as though in unimaginable torment, before leaping out of the water, still squirming, and landing on the bank beside the orange-flecked tom. There it lay, watched coolly by Icefire, until it finally stopped, dead at last. Icefire grinned horribly at his siblings. "Cool, huh?"
[[It doesn't help that I was listening to a song in Japanese that sounded like it was written/performed while they were on acid.]]

Silverlight stared at the fish writhing in pain, her eyes wide with horror. She was sure that wasn't how most cats fished. "How-? But-" she stammered, looking from the now dead fish to her brother and back to the fish again as though she were expecting one of them to spontaneously combust but didn't know which. "You didn't even touch it!" she managed to choke out.
